Dream Club outings spread hope and happiness
Piloted in 2023 and officially launched in 2024, Dream Club is a unique project where children with life-threatening illnesses escape the confines of hospital rooms to embark on extraordinary adventures. Through age-appropriate outings and activities, our dreamers can interact and make friends with peers who are on similar treatment journeys.
In this safe and comfortable environment, limitations and appearances are not issues but shared experiences. Dream Club transforms ordinary days into extraordinary memories, providing a sense of fun and normalcy away from medical treatments.
Activities like go-karting and treetop adventures celebrate bravery.
Fashion shows and cooking classes boost self-esteem.
Theatre visits and weekend getaways strengthen family bonds.
Drumming circles and art workshops inspire positivity.
The Dream Club journey
Reach For A Dream extends an open invitation to children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses to join Dream Club either before or after receiving their dream. Upon joining, each dreamer receives a kit marking the start of their journey with us. Teenagers are given a journal to record their experiences, while younger children receive a sticker book and a sticker at each outing to track their journey.
The objective is to help these brave children create lasting friendships and give each child something to look forward to in the future. Our vision is to walk with these brave children on their healing journey, with the hope that they emerge victorious – as survivors.
